Great Vst for the price and this works well with Beatmaker 2. I am still learning the ins and outs of this but awesome sounds and features so far better than all other Vst apps. There needs to be a tutorial on how to use the midi and audio settings with this app with Beatmaker 2 as how to have the midi sounds from here run through the Beatmaker 2 keyboard for recording.

Great sound easy to use = one great synth! I wasnt sure about guitar synth app, but now I know for sure these developers make it, I just may buy it too! Keep up the great job! God bless!!!!!!!

Must-have. Must-own. Must synth. This app is a part of the iOS AudioBus / CoreMIDI / MidiBridge revolution! Its also part of this complete breakfast. To the creator: Yonac, I was quite possibly your first buyer back when the App Store first opened... I bought "miniSynth" the day it hit the fledgling App Store (within minutes) - and it STILL remains a staple in my live rig. That would be interesting if you could go back and see who the first buyers were! miniSynth is kind of like an old baseball card: its out-of-print, friends cant just stroll into the store and buy it... they gotta go with one of the newer models (no shame there). Ive still got the original on all 5 of my iDevices and all of my friends get CHAPPED when they try to get it and only come away with miniSynth2. I promise them theyre not missing anything - then I blast into a cone-folding saw and invert the cymbals on stage. It makes me smile to see how far youve come!!!

of the dev to keep the iPhone version of this great synth current...(unlike some other great synths available on iPhone but now neglected - you know who you are)

Great app before ios 7. Now unusable. Addendum: uninstalled and reinstalled, now works like a champ. Im happy.

Im relatively new to iOS synths, but Magellan Jr and Sunrizer are the two that I would consider "must owns" (and both are under $5). They have similar interfaces and a ton of great presets and functionality. Magellan covers all the bases from leads to bass to percussive synths and effects. I also really like the SPAWN functionality, which is like a random synth generator - great source of inspiration. The various presets sound warm and powerful, and the act plays great with DAWs and other apps thanks to AudioBus and IAA support. Really just scratching the surface of what this app can do, but highly recommend it!

This is great for 3 reasons...Its a great synth...you can use the effects in the effects section of audiobus(awesome)...it shows up in Garageband in IAA(the only other one than Alchemy).

I found the filters to be very steppy compared to some other ios synths. needs oversampling.

For $5 you get so much more for what you paid for. So many sound clips plus the support for midi? You really cant ask for anything else in an app. Money well spent keep up the good work.

...this would be a contender for so many reasons - although I hope I never have to pick just one! Fat pro quality sound, fantastic fx, and a randomizer that delivers really usable patches all add up to make this one of my top 3 most used synths.

What else can I say? The presets still wont load when restoring from a backup, though. And Im not crazy about the faux wood trim either.

An iPhone version of the epic iPad synth. Both are great.

My favorite iPhone synth!!!! It does it all!!!!! I do wish it had the add on preset packs the iPad version does, though.

This is probably one of my favorite ios synths. Very saw sounding in general but capable of warmer sounds as well.

Finding some new dark ambient ideas with this app! Makes me wish I had the hardware! :D
